APPLICATION

Acrylic topcoats can be applied over:

2K acrylic primers.
2K epoxy primers.
Old paint coatings in good condition after matting and degreasing.

Good surface preparation is essential to achieve the best repair results.

Mixing ratio by volume

Paint: 2
Hardener: 1
Thinner: 10%

Performance

1 liter of the mixture is enough to paint a surface of 8 ÷ 10 m2 with a layer of 50 μm.

Number of layers

2 full layers.

Drying time

Dust dry at 20°C: about 15 minutes
Baking at 60°C: about 20 minutes
Temperatures below 20°C significantly increases the drying time.

Polishing and eliminating defects

Usually polishing is unnecessary, as the RAL Acrylic Clear Coat gives the surface a perfect look immediately after use. However, if some dirt inclusions appear, it is recommended to remove them using with polishing compound.

GENERAL NOTES

Do not exceed recommended doses of hardener!
The best repair results can be achieved by painting at room temperature.
Temperature in the body shop and temperature of the product should be the same.
When working with 2K products, it is recommended to use personal protection equipment. Protect the eyes and air ways.
The rooms should be well ventilated.
Clean the guns and equipment immediately after use.
